kind of a redraw of this

important bits of michael's character that i never mention:
- as much as he's a tiny buff stud his figure is inherently stout and full. squish
- body hair
- big thighs and honestly? probably a fair amount of stretch marks down there
- this one's actually discussed in the novel itself, but michael's sexuality is a total mystery to everyone, including him. his sexual attraction is so tied up in trauma and self-consciousness and other unpredictable factors that, after a while, what might have been a perfectly ordinary identity got lost (and eventually given up on, though he quits worrying about it eventually)
- he's good
