Description

The old one was outdated, and I wanted one that really reflected the styles that still show in my art today.

Miiroku - One of the first artists I ever discovered online, through their Youtube animations. I picked one of Blue's older, Warriors-related pieces, as that was the type that I took the most inspiration from.
Influence can be seen in animals, especially fur on cheeks and head.

VCR-WOLFE - A newer influence. Vinny's colors and character variety constantly inspire me, as well as little things like brush settings and anatomy.
Influence can be seen in humans, especially hair and body variation, as well as design and color.

Andy Warhol - Another new favorite. As my dad is a huge fan of pop art, Warhol's always been present in my life, but only after watching a documentary on his commercial work this year did I really begin to enjoy it.
Influence can be seen in work in which lineart is done after color.

Rumiko Takahashi (Inuyasha) - Before I watched/read Inuyasha, I basically never drew humans. I tried to copy Rumiko Takahashi's style and, though the outcomes certainly weren't good, I began to stray from cats and dogs bit-by-bit.
Influence can be seen in clothes, as well as general human anatomy.

forte-girl7 - Rumiko Takahashi might've taught me to draw humans, but Forte taught me how to draw humans. Her Portal work - especially her portrayal of the character Wheatley - constantly drove me to practice drawing humans.
Influence can be seen in human facial structure.

Superjail! - Particularly the exaggerated style of the show's second season. This show helped me fine-tune the way in which I drew humans, and actually caused me to draw humans more often than I did cats or dogs.
Influence can be seen in human facial structure, eyes, and expressions.

Bryan Lee O'Malley (Scott Pilgrim Series) - O'Malley's use of black and white, as well as his linework, make him one of my favorite artists to date. Simple, concise, and terribly funny, the Scott Pilgrim box set has a very special place on my bookshelf.
Influence can be seen in human proportion, and occassionally eyes.

Kichaa - Kichaa is another of my all-time favorite artists. Their characters and jokes are never not funny to me, and the visual humor used is superb.
Influence can be seen in expressions and color.

Pokemon - Need I say more? It's Pokemon.
Influence can be seen in the fact that I draw at all.

brewhay - In a time when I believed that an artist had to stick to one specific style, my desire to exploit a cartoonish hilarity like hers whilst still retaining realism finally broke me.
Influence can be seen in eyes and "comedy."
